In an era of institutional owners the Gillis Thomas Company is a refreshing alternative to real estate investment trusts, institutional owners and third party managers. Our goals are to provide tenants and brokers a more personal touch with simplified lease documents, prompt decision making by members of the family’s second and third generations, and construction improvements done correctly and on time by our in-house construction manager.

Since 1975 the Gillis Thomas Company has had a strong presence in the industrial real estate markets in both Dallas/Ft. Worth and Denver, Colorado. Our reputation has been built on our integrity and commitment to always dealing forthrightly with tenants, brokers and contractors, and also in giving back to the community. The Company and various family members have been actively involved in serving and raising money for various charities, such as the Genesis Women’s Shelter, Austin Street Shelter, the Crystal Charity Ball and the Stewpot. In fact, Billie and Gillis Thomas purchased the old Otis Elevator building so it could be used as the first permanent building/location for the Stewpot Ministry.
